Nishiwaki, Japan
Micron's manufacturing facility in Japan is located in Nishiwaki,
a one-hour drive from Kobe or Osaka. This fabrication plant joined
the Micron family in May 2001. Prior to that time, the operation
had been a joint venture between Micron and Kobe Steel Ltd. This
state-of-the-art facility uses advanced process technology to fabricate
leading-edge memory devices.
The plant employs approximately 1,200 employees and plays a significant role in Micron's growing international presence.
Micron also has an office in Tokyo providing sales and technical support to our customers in Japan.
